To connect the power wires to the interface board:

1. Strip approximately 1 inch (25 mm) of the outer jacket of the power cable that will go

in the terminal block.

2. Strip approximately 0.25 inches (6 mm) of insulation off each individual wire on the

power cable.

3. Insert each power wire into the 2-pin terminal block using the following wiring

information (both wires are used for power):

4. Tighten the screws on the terminal block.

5. Install the terminal block on the interface board at the TB1 location.

6. Connect the other end of the power cable into a 24V AC power supply.

Connecting Alarms and Relays

The S2800e includes the following alarm and relay signals:

 Local alarm signals available on the TB2 connector, on the main interface board

 Local relay signal available on the TB4 connector, on the main interface board

 Nextiva alarm and relay signals on the Verint mezzanine board

These signals are programmable to fit your alarm needs.
